Our sweet Loretta Hall Lasley, age 95, passed at her home on Dec. 16, 2018 with her beloved daughter by her side.

Larry R. Whitlatch, age 73, a 14-year Oak Harbor resident, passed away at his home on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018.

Harpy (Harold) Niedfeldt passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 30 at Careage of Whidbey in Coupeville, Wash. He was born in Sparta, Wis., on Nov. 8, 1927, to William (Bill) and Margaret (Carr) Niedfeldt.

Sharon Lynn Austin passed away peacefully at Home Place, in Oak Harbor, on Nov. 29, 2018. She was born on Nov. 25, 1939, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Joseph and Rose Clark. She graduated from Sequoia High School in Redwood City and attended college at San Jose State University. She married her high school sweetheart and settled in to what was to become Silicon Valley, where they raised two children.

Greg “Nick” Wilkinson of Oak Harbor, Wash., born on June 5, 1957, passed away on Nov. 28, 2018 of natural causes. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Arrangements were made with the assistance of Whidbey Memorial Funeral and Cremation Services.

KayLynn (Edgren) Mayhew was born April 23, 1961 in Colfax, Wash. to Roger and June Edgren. She passed away Nov. 24, 2018 at her home in Greenbank on Whidbey Island to her heavenly eternal home. She was 57 years old. Memorial services will be held at Hillside Evangelical Free Church, Greenbank on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 at 3 p.m.

Rodney Richard Hubbard, age 65, passed away on Friday, Nov. 23, 2018, at his home in Oak Harbor, Wash., surrounded by his immediate family. Lorene Elizabeth Hofstrand, 92, died peacefully in Bellingham, Wash., on Nov. 19, 2018. She was a generous, loving mom and an energetic, engaged community member her entire life.
